WISHEK (NewsDakota)- The 2025 District IV Tournament continues in Wishek on Tuesday with the semifinals and an elimination game on Tuesday with coverage of the entire tournament on Thunder Country 98.3.  Stay tuned on this page for updates throughout the day.

Elimination Game: (2) Sheyenne-New Rockford 10 (5) Carrington 6

A four-run bottom of the sixth inning, punctuated by a Kason Naas three-run double, answered a comeback from 6-1 down by Carrington and broke a tie game as the black Sox advanced to the second semifinal.  Thomas Allmaras, Skye Kramlich, and Connor Knatterud all scored two runs each for SNR.  Kyle Johnson had two RBI and Josh Bickett scored twice for Carrington.

Semifinal: (3) Linton-Ashley-Wishek 7 (1) Edgeley 3

A five-run top of the sixth inning broke open a 2-1 game as the Rattlers advanced to the District IV Championship on Wednesday.  Berkley Frantz homered to open the scoring before being intentionally walked with the bases loaded in the fifth for a 2-0 lead.  Ross Fredenburg had an RBI double in the home fifth to cut the margin to 2-1 before LAW put it away in the sixth.

Semifinal: (1) Edgeley 6 (2) Sheyenne-New Rockford 5

Two runs in the last of the seventh inning on an error gave Edgeley the lead for the first time in the game as they walked off the Black Sox.  Jacob Nitschke bounced back from allowing a first inning grand slam to Alex Weisenberger and struck out thirteen in the complete game win.  Drew Thorpe had two hits and scored twice in the win.
