
STEELE, N.D. (NDHP) – Two people died in a three-vehicle crash on North Dakota Highway 3 at mile marker 126 in Kidder County on Friday, July 25th around 8pm.
The Highway Patrol said a Pontiac G6 was traveling southbound in the northbound lane when it sideswiped a northbound Chevrolet Equinox. The impact caused the Pontiac G6 to become airborne, where it then collided with a northbound Dodge Challenger.
The driver of the Equinox was uninjured. The drivers of both the Pontiac G6 and Dodge Challenger were ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene. The passenger of the Dodge Challenger sustained serious injuries and was transported via ground and air ambulance.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
