JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Jamestown woman, 67-year-old Rita Kubat, was found dead Friday, July 25th after her vehicle was discovered submerged in Stink Lake in Benson County.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP) responded to the scene and found a Toyota resting on its roof in the water. According to the patrol, the vehicle appears to have entered the west ditch, rolled over large rocks, and came to a stop in the lake.

The crash remains under investigation, authorities have not yet determined the exact date or time of the crash.
