MOORHEAD, M.N. (NewsDakota.com) – A Moorhead family is mourning after their child was hit by a Moorhead municipal truck on Thursday, July 31st.

9-year-old Adam Amin was riding his bike through a crosswalk on 14th Street and 40th Avenue in Moorhead when he was hit by a city truck and died from injuries. Since the tragic accident, donations have poured in via a GoFundMe. More than $45,000 has been raised to help his family during this time.

In a public post the family said, “Adam was full of life, laughter, and love. His smile could light up a room, and his spirit brought joy to everyone who knew him. His absence leaves a deep void in the hearts of his family, friends, and community.”
