PARK RIVER, ND (NewsDakota.com)  A seven-run third inning powered Thompson past LaMoure for the “B” Legion title Monday.

LaMoure started Logan Potts ran into trouble, walking four in the inning, and Thompson Designated Hitter Kaden Loiland drilled a three-RBI double to the right field corner to cap the inning, en route to a 10-0 win in six innings.

LaMoure struggled with Thompson starter Jeromy Tyce, who limited Post 19 to three hits over five innings. LaMoure finishes the tournament 3-2, advancing to the title game with a 3-0 win over Park River in the previous game.  Gunner Thielges dazzled to earn the win for Post 19.
