VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – 260 participants registered for this year’s RiverFest on Saturday, August 2nd. The flotilla of kayak’s and canoes down the Sheyenne River started at the U.S Fish Hatchery launch site and ended at Chautauqua Park in Valley City.
Co-event coordinator Macy Schlaht said it was a beautiful day on the water and at the park. We had 54 registered vendors. She added, Monkeyballs, Doodling Dixie’s, Reister Meats, Dakota Sodas, Brockopp Brewing, and the Valley City Trap Club provided food and beverages.
