BURNSVILLE, MN – University of Jamestown Football was selected by league coaches to finish 14th of 14 teams in the Jimmies’ first season in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.

The NSIC schedule is among two divisions.  Jamestown is in the North Division with Bemidji State, Minnesota Duluth, Minot State, MSU Moorhead, Northern State, and the University of Mary.

Minnesota State received 11 of the 14 first-place votes and was picked first in the poll.  Two-time defending champion Augustana was second, with the other three top votes.

UJ will begin fall practice on Wednesday, August 13 and play its first NSIC game at Augustana on Saturday, September 6.  The Jimmies’ home opener at Rollie Greeno Field at Charlotte & Gordon Hansen Stadium will be against Southwest Minnesota State on Saturday, September 13.
