
JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Severe weather moved across the entire state of North Dakota on Friday, August 8th causing multiple issues for many cities including Jamestown where the roof of a row of apartments collapsed.
Several cities reported power outages and downed trees. At one point the power outages affecting lift stations in Jamestown and residents were asked to conserve water and limit use of the 0sanitary sewer systems.
Funnel clouds were reported in Stutsman, Foster, and Grand Forks counties from this system that brought wind speeds of 65 to 90 miles per hour.
The city shop and grain elevator in Finley, North Dakota was severely damage during the storm.
