STEELE (NewsDakota)- The 2025 Carrington girls golf team has a major goal, and that is to qualify for state as a team. And on Monday, they took a pretty good step towards that aim.
Senior Molly Hansen won the Kidder County Invitational with an 85 and the Cardinals were runners-up as a team with four players finishing in the top 20 as the team shot 440 in Steele.
Hansen won the meet by nine shots over Edgeley-Kulm’s Shelby Schlepp, while Aubrey Neis finished 8th with a 107 and Cally Hansen was 10th with a 114. Jyllian Parker also finished in the top twenty with a 134 as Carrington finished runners-up to the Rebels, who shot 396.
Carrington are back in action on Friday in Oakes.
