Cindy was born on February 20, 1953, to Oscar and Lorraine (Olson) Meyer, and grew up in a home filled with love and strong family values. She worked as a bartender in her early years, where she made many lasting friendships with her warm smile and easy laughter.
Cindy was known for her kindness, gentle spirit, and the grace she extended to everyone she met. She lived by faith and found joy in simple pleasures—spending time with family and friends, treasure hunting at thrift stores, and she would never turn down a good game of pool. Between the hours of 11 and 2, you could always find her tuned into her favorite soap operas- a daily ritual she rarely missed.
She is survived by her son, Shannon Holter, and his wife, Kelly; her grandchildren, Destiny (Jaden) Voth, Paul (McKayla) Holter, Lucas (Morgan) Holter and Alexia Holter; Great-Grandchildren, Paxten and Dekker Holter and Tripp and Peter Nehring; two brothers, Terri Meyer and Bobby Meyer; many nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Lorraine Meyer, and her grandson, Briot Nehring.
