JAMESTOWN – Legacy’s defense is starting the season flawlessly, and Jamestown became its latest victim Thursday.

Uriel Rivera scored both goals as Legacy Boys Soccer stopped the Blue Jays 2-0 at Rotary Field.

Rivera was awarded a penalty kick in the seventh minute and converted for the Sabers (3-0-0, 3-0-0 WDA), who have not allowed a goal so far this season.  Owan Joyce set Rivera up for his second goal in the 68th minute.

Evan Harty made four saves in goal for Jamestown (2-1-1, 2-1-0 WDA).

The Blue Jays will play next on Friday, August 29 at Minot North.
