BISMARCK, N.D. (NDAC) – The North Dakota Aeronautics Commission (NDAC) has released its monthly report detailing airline passenger traffic at the state’s eight commercial service airports.

In July 2025, North Dakota’s eight commercial service airports recorded 122,238 passenger boardings, establishing a new all-time high for the month of July. This total surpasses the previous record of 112,141 set in 2024—a 9% year-over-year increase that represents an additional 10,097 travelers.

All eight airports experienced growth compared to last July, contributing to the state’s fifteenth consecutive month of record-breaking passenger traffic. These sustained gains highlight both the strength and reliability of North Dakota’s commercial air service network.

“Continued growth in passenger traffic highlights the important role that air service plays in supporting North Dakota’s economy.” said Kyle Wanner, Executive Director of the North Dakota Aeronautics Commission. “These record numbers show that residents and visitors alike are choosing to fly, which strengthens our communities and expands opportunities across the state.”

Air Service Updates: Jamestown & Devils Lake Airports: Both airports now offer direct service to Denver. By removing their former linked-route arrangement, the total available seats have increased for passengers in both communities.
