CARRINGTON (NewsDakota)- The Carrington Cross Country team hosted the annual home meet on Monday and found great success as the girls finished third overall, and second among Class B teams, while the boys earned another state qualifier.

For the Cardinal boys, Nehemiah Gacho qualified for state with a time of 22:50 while Chayse Steadman set his season best at 20:22.  The Cardinal girls had four runners in the top 25.  Macy Feibiger finished ninth with a 21:51 while Grace Inglish and Jaedyn Lura finished 17th and 18th respectively and Joie Helseth clocked a 23:28 to finish 23rd.

Carrington are next in action on Monday at New Rockford-Sheyenne.
