CASS COUNTY, N.D. – The Cass County Veteran Services Office is pleased to announce the second annual Community Veteran Stand Down, a vital event dedicated to supporting our veterans. The event will take place on Thursday, September 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Broadway Square in downtown Fargo.
The Stand Down event will focus on ensuring that veterans receive the benefits and services that are available to them. This is open to all veterans in the community, offering a unique opportunity to learn, connect, and access valuable resources.
“With so many changes unfolding in the VA and veteran benefits landscape, questions are inevitable,” said Veteran Services Officer Chris Deery. “What matters most is that veterans know where to turn—and that they’re never left to navigate it alone.”
Attendees can expect a variety of informational booths, a free meal, and representatives from veteran organizations ready to assist with VA enrollment, healthcare for homeless veterans, and the PACT Act. The event aims to provide a comprehensive support network for veterans and their families.
