MINOT – Jamestown Blue Jays Girls Golf took an eighth-place finish Friday at the Minot Invitational at Vardon Golf Course.

Mylee Michel finished just out of the top 10 and carded an 86 for the best Jamestown score.  Belle Sjostrom and Taylor Earnest each shot 94.  Braelyn Wiese scored 97.  Katelyn Monson and Elizabeth Hasselbrock had rounds of 106 each.

Overall, Jamestown shot 371.  Mandan won the event with 329.

The Blue Jays will return to Minot Monday for the Minot North Invitational.
