ABERDEEN, SD – Jamestown Blue Jays Cross Country ran Thursday in the Salhi-Salmi Invitational at Lee Park Golf Course. Jamestown’s boys were fourth of five teams. The girls were fifth.
For the Blue Jay boys, Tristan Champagne ran best, finishing 16th with a time of 19:11. Dax Wick was 20th at 19:24. In 23rd was Flynn Wiley at 19:42. Heath Heupel ran in 20:00 to finish 27th. Jayden Velek was 28th at 20:04. Leif Hanson finished 42nd at 21:54.
Isabelle Maddock was the top finisher for the Jamestown girls, running 20th in 22:44. Macella Maus timed 22:58 for 23rd. Hattie Fitzgerald was 29th at 23:45. Layla Becker finished 32nd, running in 24:21. Millicent Maus took 36th in 25:27. In 39th was Hadley Jackson at 25:44.
The Blue Jay teams will run at the Central Cass Invitational on Tuesday in Casselton.
