COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – In their final two non-conference matches, Jamestown Jimmies Women’s Volleyball split on Saturday, defeating Millersville University and losing to unbeaten host Colorado-Colorado Springs in the Mountain Lion Classic at UCCS’ Gallogly Events Center.

Greta Wise and Corbyn Menz paced the Jimmies (5-1) with 10 kills each. Wise had five block assists. Menz had 19 digs and two aces. Addison Brooke tallied nine kills and five block assists. Ava Mueller had eight kills and served three aces. Lily Bertsch scored 22 set assists. Mia Hinsz had 11 digs.

Unbeaten UCCS (7-0) outhit the Jimmies .224 to .112 and had 57 kills to the Jimmies’ 44. Payton Tompkins had 14 kills for the Mountain Lions.
Wise had 10 kills for UJ (5-2). Menz had nine kills and nine digs. Mueller had seven kills and an ace. Brooke scored six kills, a solo block and three block assists. Momoka Minamaya had 19 digs and Bertsch had 19 set assists.
The Jimmies will play their first NSIC match Friday against Concordia-St. Paul in St. Paul, Minnesota.
