
JAMESTOWN – St. Cloud State gave Jamestown Jimmies Men’s Soccer its second straight shutout loss Wednesday with a 3-0 blanking at Rollie Greeno Field at Charlotte & Gordon Hansen Stadium.
Yousif Atia broke the goalless draw for the Huskies (2-1-1) only 22 seconds before halftime. Andrés García made the lead 2-0 in the 68th minute and King Dwumah Acheampong closed the scoring in the 88th minute.
For Jamestown (1-4-0), Dawid Chrobot made seven saves in goal. St. Cloud State outshot the Jimmies 15-6 and 10-2 on target as UJ lost its fourth straight match.
Jamestown will play the first of two consecutive matches in Kansas against Fort Hays State Saturday in Hays, Kansas.
