JAMESTOWN – Concordia-St. Paul scored three first-half goals Friday to spoil the Jamestown Jimmies’ NSIC women’s soccer opener in a 3-1 win at Rollie Greeno Field at Charlotte & Gordon Hansen Stadium.

Nicole Moore and Brooke Nelson scored just under three minutes in the first half for CSP (4-0-0, 1-0-0) NSIC, with each setting up the other’s goal.  Moore tallied in the 16th minute, then Nelson scored in the 19th minute.

Sophia Haase gave the Golden Bears a 3-0 lead in the 32nd minute.

Freshman Langley Grow scored her first collegiate goal in the 69th minute for Jamestown (0-3-0, 0-1-0).

CSP outshot Jamestown 13-5 and 7-2 on target.  Goalkeeper Skylar Lind made four saves.

The Jimmies will host Winona State Sunday at noon at Hansen Stadium.
