MEDORA, N.D. – (VCSUVikings.com) The Valley City State University Cross Country teams went out to Medora, N.D. to compete in the Blue Hawk Invitational, hosted by Dickinson State University on Saturday, Sept. 21.

 

The Vikings did not record a team score in the contest but were led by Frida Barrera (23:04.7) and Paiton Flick (24:35.6) take third and fifteenth place respectively in the women’s 6K.

 

Viking men were led by Zach Baumgartner a sophomore running a 28:15.9 taking 22nd place. Following Baumgartner was Mason Brehmer (28:49.5) in 32nd, Tate Minnihan (30:18.9) in 47th, and Issac Eichhorst (31:43.6) in 52nd place.
