MINOT, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Norsk Høstfest is please to announce that we will be welcoming Norwegian Ambassador Anniken Huitfeldt to our festivities. The Ambassador arrives in Minot on Tuesday, September 23rd.

The Scandinavian Heritage Association is welcoming her to the Magic City with a personal tour of the Scandinavian Heritage Park. Later, she’ll get to spend time with North Dakota’s First Lady (and fellow Norwegian!) Kjersti Armstrong. In the evening, Ambassador Huitfeldt joins us for the Høstfest Governor’s Reception.

On Wednesday September 24th, the first day of Høstfest, Ambassador Huitfeldt will be a distinguished guest at the Bunad Show, taking place at 11am in Oslo Hall. She’ll also attend the Opening Ceremony at 2:30pm in the Great Hall – which is free and open to all festivalgoers! The Høstfest is thrilled to welcome Norwegian Ambassador Anniken Huitfeldt to our 46th annual festival, which runs from September 24th – 27th at the North Dakota State Fair Center in Minot.

The Høstfest’s four-day slate of Great Hall entertainers are Bjøro Håland, The Killer Vees Neil Diamond Tribute, Abbacadabra, Cash vs. The King: an Elvis Presley & Johnny Cash Tribute Presented by Medora (back to back shows!), and Little Texas. Side stage entertainers include Brian Sklar & The Western Senators, Fiddling Lefty, Midwest Murder Podcast, Waddington Brothers, Moon Cats, and Project Constellation, along with many others.
