ST. CLOUD, MN – St. Cloud State scored twice in the first half Friday in a 2-0 women’s soccer win over the Jamestown Jimmies at Husky Stadium.

Linsey Trapino beat Jimmies’ goalkeeper Skylar Lind in the lower right corner in the sixth minute for the first goal for St. Cloud State (4-0-2, 2-0-1 NSIC).  Ellie Primerano doubled the lead for the Huskies with a blast to the upper right corner in the 24th minute.

For Jamestown (0-5-0, 0-3-0 NSIC), Lind had to make 15 saves as Jamestown was outshot 27-3 overall and 17-2 on goal.

On Sunday, the Jimmies will meet second-ranked Minnesota State in Mankato, Minnesota.
