VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The World War II Victory Garden produced several pounds of tomatoes, carrots, and beets this year. The produce went to the Barnes County Senior Center and Bridgeview Estates.

A big shout out to the garden volunteers of Howard Langemo, Cindy Ross,  Cathryn Stilling and Madeline Luke as well as to the Community Gardens who generously donated the plot to grow this food.

Join them next year for another World War II Victory Garden planting in the spring of 2026.
