ORISKA, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – About 40 people participated or attended the 2nd annual Plowing Bee at the Aaron Henderson farm on Sunday, September 28th.
Under a crystal clear blue sky with the temperature touching 85 degrees, several old-time tractors pulling their vintage plows turned that sod around on a small grains stubble field.
After the plowing, the Henderson family treated the workers to a wonderful picnic style meal of beans, brats and barbecue sandwiches along with homemade desserts and root beet floats.
Enjoy the gallery of photos from the 2nd annual Plowing Bee. Thanks to the Henderson family for providing the field and their gracious hospitality during this fun event.
