BISMARCK – Jamestown’s hope of a third straight boys soccer state tournament appearance may be fading.

That hope does still mathematically exist, but Jamestown now stands six points out of the fourth and last qualifying spot in the WDA standings after a 3-0 loss to Century Thursday at the MDU Resources Community Bowl.

Kyle Livesay scored in the fifth minute for the Patriots (6-5-3, 6-5-3 WDA).  Jaxon Jahnke made the Century lead 2-0 in the 27th minute.  Cale McEvers then scored in the 51st minute.

Evan Harty made two saves in goal for Jamestown (5-8-1, 5-8-0).

Three matches remain in the regular season for the Blue Jays, all at home.  Jamestown will host Minot at Rotary Field Saturday at 2:00 PM.
