CROOKSTON, MN – Nellie Brown scored in the 61st minute Friday as the Jamestown Jimmies picked up their first win in NSIC women’s soccer, defeating Minnesota Crookston 1-0 at the Minnesota Crookston Soccer Field.

Julliet Lopez and Bella Perez set up Brown’s first goal of the season for the Jimmies (1-6-0, 1-4-0 NSIC).

Skylar Lind made four saves in net, including three in the first half, for Jamestown.  Minnesota Crookston had a 4-3 advantage in shots on goal and 9-3 overall.

UJ will play at MSU Moorhead on Sunday.
