JAMESTOWN – Jamestown Jimmies Cross Country hosted the Jimmie Invitational Friday at Parkhurst Recreation Arena, with the Jimmie women finishing fifth and the men taking seventh place.

Lydia Franson was 25th overall, the best for UJ’s women, running in 23:07.8.

North Dakota won the women’s title with 24 points. North Dakota State was second with 35.

The top runner for the Jimmie men was Aaron Devine, who took 49th in 26:50.2

North Dakota also won the men’s championship with 22 points. North Dakota State was second with 46.

The Jimmies will run next in Dordt University’s Holiday Inn Express Classic on Friday, October 11 in Sioux Center, Iowa.
