JAMESTOWN – Third-ranked Minot St. came back for a 3-2 win over sixth-ranked Jamestown Jimmies ACHA D1 Men’s Hockey Friday at Wilson Arena.

Jamestown (5-1-1-0) scored first from Carson Brown.  His fourth of the season was assisted by Brad Fortin and Ray Warrack at 4:43 of the second period.  Only 47 seconds later, Carson Jerome tied the game for Minot State (4-0-0-0).

Joey Moffatt put the Beavers in front with a power play goal with 52 seconds to play in the middle period.

Colby Joseph scored at 8:11 of the third period for a 3-1 MSU lead.  1:03 later, Cai Robinson scored his first for the Jimmies, set up by Jordan Baranesky and Warrack.

Brandon Weare made 24 saves in net for Jamestown.  Minot State had a 27-26 shot advantage and was 1-of-4 on the power play while UJ was 0-of-3.

The teams will meet again on Saturday evening in Minot.
