FARGO – Jamestown Blue Jays Volleyball took third place in the Silver Division in the Metro Volleyball Invitational, which took place Friday and Saturday.

In pool play Friday at Fargo South High School, Jamestown lost in three sets to Legacy 23-25, 25-18, 25-12, then lost in straight sets to Horace 25-17, 25-16, then defeated Northern Cass in straight sets 25-14, 25-23.

This put the Blue Jays into the Silver Division at Fargo North High School on Saturday.  Jamestown advanced to the semifinal round with a 25-14, 28-26 win over Fargo South before losing to West Fargo 25-13, 25-16.  The Blue Jays then topped Dickinson in the third place match 25-21, 18-25, 15-10.

Jamestown is now 14-10 overall.

The Blue Jays are 8-4 in WDA play and return to conference action Tuesday at Legacy.  Coverage will begin at around 6:45 PM on The Voice of the Blue Jays, Jamestown 107.1.
