
VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The 2025 Hi-Liner Girls Golf team had their year end award celebration.
Head Coach Tyler VanBruggen said the team enjoyed an afternoon at Suite Shots in Fargo and returned to the Hi-Liner Activity Center for a cake and ice cream social where they were joined by friends and family for the year end recap and awards presentation.
Varsity Letter Winner Awards
Abby Wilmes (Senior)– Most Improved in season, Co-Play through the pain Award
Anna McMenamin (Junior) -Team Spirit Award
Ashlynn Hartsell (Junior) – Rookie of the Year Award
Chloee Wieser (Senior) – Most Improved High Score to Low, Co-Play through the Pain Award
Kylie Van Bruggen (Junior) – Individual Low Round, Individual Low Average, Team MVP Award
Veronica Remick (Senior) – Most improved from prior year, Iron Woman Award
The Hi-Liners finished 7th place in the team state qualifier and 6th place in both individual qualifiers. Throughout the year the Hi-Liners accounted for 12 Individual Varsity Top 10 Finishes. Kylie Van Bruggen (6), Anna McMenamin (2), Veronica Remick (2), Ashlynn Hartsell (1), and Chloee Wieser (1). Their best team finish was in Oakes where they placed 1st. Other top 5 finishes included 2nd in the Valley City Meet, 3rd in Carrington, and 4th place in Napoleon, Kidder Co., and Kulm. Coach Tyler Van Bruggen was named Region 3 Coach of the Year.

Alizabeth Nelson (Freshman) – JV Team Spirit Award
Keighty Harris (7th Grade) – JV MVP Award
Top 10 Junior Varsity Finishes, Keighty Harris (5), Alizabeth Nelson (3). The Junior Varsity competed as a team in Cooperstown and took first place.
