JAMESTOWN, N.D. (Chamber) – The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce AgEnergy Committee is pleased to announce the return of the annual AgEnergy Luncheon on Tuesday, October 21st at 12:00 PM at North Dakota Farmers Union Insurance Headquarters at 1415 12th Ave. SE.

This year’s event will feature a presentation by Dr. Frayne Olson, NDSU Associate Professor of Agribusiness and Applied Economics. Dr. Olson serves as the Crop Economist and Marketing Specialist for NDSU Extension and as Director of the Quentin Burdick Center for Cooperatives. With decades of experience, Dr. Olson has worked directly with farm and ranch managers, industry leaders, and policymakers across North Dakota. His presentation will provide insight into current agricultural markets, economics, and cooperative business models—offering valuable perspective for producers and agribusiness professionals alike.

Dr. Olson earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in agricultural economics from NDSU and holds a doctorate in agricultural economics from the University of Missouri. Since 1987, he has held various roles with NDSU Extension and the Quentin Burdick Center for Cooperatives, combining research, outreach, and real-world application to strengthen North
Dakota’s agriculture industry.
