MANDAN – Jamestown Blue Jays Boys Soccer scored first, but Minot rallied Friday for a 2-1 win in a consolation semifinal of the NDHSAA Boys Soccer State Championship at Starion Sports Complex.

Grady Eckart scored his third goal of the season for Jamestown (7-10-2) in the 23rd minute, but Drew Bohlender converted a penalty kick for Minot (10-4-4) in the 25th minute and the game was even at 1-1 at halftime.

Dylan Oswalt scored the winner for the Magicians with six minutes remaining.

Evan Harty made four saves in goal for the Blue Jays.
