BISMARCK – Olivia Gardner and Dina Polanco each scored twice Friday as the University of Mary Marauders overwhelmed Jamestown Jimmies Women’s Soccer 5-0 at the MDU Resources Community Bowl.

Gardner scored twice in the first half, in the 5th and 24th minutes, to send UMary (5-4-3, 3-3-3 NSIC) to a 2-0 halftime lead.

Polanco’s first goal came in the 47th minute.  Tara Young tallied in the 53rd minute.  Polanco converted a penalty kick in the 63rd minutes.

The Jimmies (2-9-0, 2-7-0) were outshot 12-2 on goal and 33-4 overall.

Jamestown will host Minot State Sunday at noon at Rollie Greeno Field at Charlotte and Gordon Hansen Stadium.
