NEW ROCKFORD, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The New Rockford and surrounding communities are mourning the loss of a high school student who died after a car accident. It happened Sunday, October 19th around 5pm on Highway 19 in Benson County. New Rockford-Sheyenne High School student athlete Tucker Faul’s vehicle collided with a semi. Faul died from his injuries.

Several communities are mourning Faul, including the towns of Maddock, Harvey, New Rockford, and Devils Lake – wearing purple or displaying purple items at their store front to honor him. A GoFundMe has been organized to help his family with expenses.

Per the GoFundMe: He was more than a son, brother, nephew, or friend Tucker was a light in every room. His infectious laughter, generous heart, and fun-loving spirit made the world a better place. He lived his life with a depth of compassion and joy well beyond his years.
