
WAYNE, NE – University of Jamestown Women’s Cross Country took sixth place in their first NSIC Championships Friday and the men placed 10th at Wayne Country Club.
Lydia Franson was 16th overall to run best for Jamestown at 22:40.00.

Winona State won its second team title in the last three seasons. The Warriors’ Sophia Taarud won the NSIC individual title in 21:19.60 after finishing second in 2024.
Cole Campbell ran best for the Jimmie men, finishing 43rd with a season-best time of 26:53.10.

Augustana’s dynasty in NSIC men’s cross country continued. The Vikings won their sixth straight team championship and 15th in the last 16 seasons. Augustana tied MSU Moorhead for the most championships in conference history. Jared Gregoire of MSU Moorhead was the individual champion at 24:57.92.
