
JAMESTOWN (NewsDakota)- A successful cross-country season concluded with two Cardinal girls and one Cardinal boy finishing in the top 100 at the Class B state meet in Jamestown on Friday.
The Carrington boys, all of which are eighth graders, were paced by Chayse Steadman, who ran a 19:23.1, good for 71st overall. Others runners were Henry Pavelko (20:58.4), Kreed Kirkeby (21:23.9), Howie Simonson (22:10,7) and Nehemiah Gacho (22:32.9).
The Cardinal girls were led by Macy Fiebiger with a 22:00.8, good for 56th overall, while Grace Inglish finished 96th with a 22:55. Other runners included Joie Helseth (23:14.9), Jaedyn Lura (23:17.4), Kahri Kollman (24:05.5), Anna VanRay (24:16.9), Paige Fiebiger (24:42.2), Molly Fiebiger (25:16.5) and Nela McKibben (27:11.1).
