GRANDIN, N.D. (KFGO) – The Highway Patrol has released the name of the woman struck and killed by a train in Grandin on Friday, October 24th.

The patrol says 71-year-old Barbara Graalum was walking west on 3rd Street shortly after 2 p.m. when she was hit by the northbound train. She died at the scene.

The Highway Patrol, Cass County Sheriff’s Office, Grandin Fire, Gardner Fire, Sanford Ambulance, Hunter Ambulance, Grandin Quick Response Unit, and BNSF Police responded.
