ST. BONIFACIUS, MN – Jake Simson scored twice and was one of seven different goal scorers Saturday as Jamestown Jimmies Men’s Soccer clubbed Crown College Saturday 8-1 at Old National Bank Stadium.

Elias Werner began the scoring for the Jimmies (3-8) with a blast to the high left corner in the 10th minute.

Werner set up Simson’s first goal, a shot to the low left, in the 21st minute.  Jamestown led 2-0 at halftime.

UJ was up 5-0 after three goals in just over 18 minutes by Mats Buelters (46th minute), Joshua Jackson (50th) and Simon’s second tally (64th).  Kael Calder, Amery Roberts and Tom Nicholls scored later in the second half.

Jamestown will conclude its season against Northwest Nazarene in Nampa, Idaho on November 5.
