
JAMESTOWN – Jamestown Jimmies Women’s Soccer saw its winless streak extended to six matches Friday with a 2-0 loss to Minnesota Duluth to begin Senior Weekend at Rollie Greeno Field at Charlotte & Gordon Hansen Stadium.
Kamryn Beavers gave the Bulldogs (6-6-4, 5-5-3 NSIC) the only goal they needed in the 43rd minute. UMD doubled the lead from Miriam Marsan in the 79th minute.
Jamestown (2-12-1, 2-10-1) was outshot 20-7 and 10-4 on goal. Kuhela Ledward had two of the shots on goal for the Jimmies.
Senior Day will be celebrated Sunday when the Jimmies host Bemidji State at noon at Hansen Stadium.
