JAMESTOWN – Grace Kittel scored twice Sunday as Bemidji State Women’s Soccer shut out the Jamestown Jimmies on UJ’s Senior Day 6-0 at Rollie Greeno Field at Charlotte & Gordon Hansen Stadium.

Ella Wade scored in the sixth minute for Bemidji State (12-2-3, 10-1-3 NSIC), who remained in a tie for second in the conference standings.

Katrina Barthelt scored in the 11th minute for the Beavers, then Kittel and Briana Stocke scored just 38 seconds apart in the 39th and 40th minutes and BSU led 4-0 at halftime.

Kenzie Harer tallied in the 64th minute and Kittel scored again in the 70th minute.

Vega Canada had six shots and four on goal for the Jimmies (2-13-1, 2-11-1).

Jamestown will close their first NSIC season against Northern State on Thursday at 6:00 PM at Hansen Stadium.
