CASS COUNTY, N.D. (CCSO) – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the critical incident that occurred November 5th in Horace (ND). The investigation involved personnel from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, the Cass County Coroner’s Office, the Cass County State’s Attorney’s Office, and the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
21-year-old Derrick Lobbo has been placed under arrest and transported to the Cass County Jail. The Sheriff’s Office will not be releasing the name of the deceased female at this time, who appeared to have died from a gunshot wound.
The Sheriff’s Office is committed to conducting a thorough and accurate investigation, and remains on scene at the time of this release. There are potential additional charges that will be forthcoming from this incident.
