SANBORN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Sanborn Veterans Park Board donated $5,000 to the Barnes County Veterans Service Office on November 7, 2025, to help provide essential support such as food and housing assistance for local Veterans in need.
“Our board is proud to give back to those who have served our country,” said Nicolette Blumler, President and Chairwoman of the Sanborn Veterans Park Board. “We want to make sure every Veteran in Barnes County knows that help is available.”
Barnes County Commissioner Pete Paulson said the commission and Barnes County residents have been instrumental in supporting our local Barnes County Veteran Service office.
The Sanborn Veterans Park Board includes Nicolette Blumler (President and Chairwoman), Richard Blumler (Secretary and Treasurer), Joe Pesek (Founder), Charlie Brandenberg (Sanborn Mayor and Board Member), Wayne Becker, Connie Becker, Dan Wieland, and Travis Podoll.
