
The Carrington football team were honored with Tate Wolsky, McKade Zink and Cody Otto named to the first team and Max Whitman, Peyton Harrington, Gabe Clifton, and Alec Threadgold were named second team.
Tate Wolsky had 115 total tackles, 76 solo, with 11 TFLs, a sack and a pick six defensively while rushing for 375 yards and two touchdowns and catching 120 yards worth of passes with a touchdown.
McKade Zink led the team in rushing with 575 yards and three touchdowns and in receiving with 330 yards and three more touchdowns. Defensively, the senior racked up 76 tackles (46 solo) with two TFL and a sack.
Cody Otto registered 57 tackles (31 solo) with nine sacks, six TFLs and a safety in his senior year, playing through a torn labrum in his shoulder for the vast majority of the season.
Max Whitman completed 65% of his passes for 838 yards and six touchdowns while rushing for 271 yards and five more scores in his return to the sports after a five-year hiatus. Defensively, the senior had 27 tackles (20 solo), two interceptions and a pick-six at homecoming.
Peyton Harrington rushed for 280 yards and three scores and caught nine passes for 98 yards. On defense, the senior racked up 29 tackles (16 solo).
Alec Threadgold collected 47 tackles (30 solo) with seven sacks and six TFLs as a junior.
Gabe Clifton caught nine passes for 173 yards and a touchdown offensively while on defense, the junior racked up 88 tackles (50 solo) with three TFLs and an interception.
The Cardinals finished 4-5, barely missing out on the Class A playoffs.
