For a great season, Liam Frey has received another honor.

Frey, the Jamestown Blue Jays’ senior running back, has been named by the North Dakota Football Coaches Association to the 11AA All-State second team, as announced Wednesday.

One day earlier, it was announced that Frey and teammate Cody Berreth were named to the West Region’s all-region team.

This past season, Frey became the first Blue Jay in many years to rush for at least 1,000 yards, ending with 1,012.  Frey averaged nearly six yards a carry and scored 12 touchdowns.
