CARRINGTON (NewsDakota)- After a 31-win debut season under head coach Kadyn Mehring, two Carrington Cardinal Volleyball stars, junior Harper Kollman and sophomore Aniston Hoornaert, have been named Second-Team All-State in Class A, as announced on Tuesday morning.

Hoornaert racked up 1,130 assists in just 37 matches while serving 44 aces and making 311 digs defensively.  The sophomore setter also accumulated 70 kills and 36 blocks.

Kollman led the team in kills (319), was second in digs (516) and added 35 aces, good for third best on the squad.  The versatile junior also racked up 35 aces and 27 blocks.

The Cardinals finished 31-6, and Coach Mehring was named Region 2A Coach of the Year.
