
FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Roads reopened after ‘No Travel’ advisories were lifted across the state following a snow storm that hit the region Tuesday, November 25th.
Highway Patrol Captain Bryan Niewind said travel was difficult for most of the day as troopers and first responders were called to multiple vehicle crashes. He said several vehicles are still stuck in the median or ditches in eastern North Dakota.
He said several first responders escaped serious injury during a number of near misses, fortunately no fatalities occurred on North Dakota roadways.
The North Dakota Department of Transportation and Highway Patrol closed a portion of I-94 and I-29 Tuesday afternoon as first responders were overwhelmed with calls for service.
