
Perennial girls power Minot and defending boys state champion Century head the North Dakota Sportscasters & Sportswriters Association 2025-26 preseason AA basketball polls, released Monday.
Minot was 24-3 in 2024-25 and finished third in the state tournament. The Majettes return many experienced players, including two-time Gatorade Player of the Year and all-time leading AA scorer Leelee Bell.
Century won its fourth state championship last season and its last 15 games to finish 27-1. Seniors Garrett Nissley and Camden Kraemer lead the Patriots.
