JAMESTOWN – A sophomore dazzled on Tuesday night at Wilson Arena in girls hockey action as Macie Vig popped in four goals to lead Century to a 7-0 victory.
Vig scored once in the first, twice in the second and tacked on a goal and an assist in period three to finish off her magnificent night.
The Patriots also got two goals and an assist from Elliana Mattson. Aubrey Hay and Morgan Rieger each chipped in with two assists.
Jamestown goalie Ady Bakalar finished with 23 saves as the Jays were outshot 30-10.
Century junior goalie Karley Grabar pitched the shutout.
The Patriots improved to 2-1 and the Jays slipped to 0-1-1.
Next up for Jamestown is Mandan on Friday at Wilson Arena at 5:00 PM.
