
JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – This winter, residents in Jamestown will have free ice skate rentals as the Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota Caring Foundation partners with community rinks across the state to promote winter wellness. Through February, the Caring Foundation will offer free ice skate rentals at the Winter Sports Building as part of the foundation's ongoing commitment to promote healthy, active lifestyles and making winter recreation more affordable for families and individuals.
Whether you’re a seasoned skater or trying it for the first time, this is a great chance to get outside, stay active and enjoy the season.
Skate Rental Schedule: Jamestown (Winter Sports Building, 1009 7th St NE) from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays now through Feb. 26, 2026.
The Caring Foundation is also covering the cost of skate rentals in Williston, Dickinson, Minot and Devils Lake. They encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to embrace the joy of winter and stay active.
