BROOKINGS, SD – Jamestown Jimmies Track & Field made three top-10 finishes Friday in their first event of 2025-26, the South Dakota State Holiday Open in the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex.

Lydia Franson had the lone top-10 finish for the Jimmie women, taking fourth in the 3000 meters at 10:13.34.

For the UJ men, two 3000 meter runners were in the top 10.  Clark Lortscher was fifth in 8:57.81 and Cole Campbell was seventh at 9:01.75.

Jamestown will run Thursday in NDSU’s Dakota Alumni Classic in Fargo.
